Why G3 Power ?

THE SOLUTION TO A RENEWABLE ENERGY CONVERSION PROBLEM

Tri-Gen produces Renewable Energy Continuously

Tri-Gen : The solution that solves the problem of variability of intermittent renewable energies

LARGE SOLAR PANEL vs TRI-GEN

SOLAR PANEL FIELDS

Large solar panel field covering 25,000 m² of agricultural land.
POWER CAPACITY : 5 MW peak + 7,5 MWh battery (1 m2 solar panel : 200 W peak) "peak" means, summertime at noon (solar time) full sunny weather.

A solar installation has an extremely variable production which depends on :
Type of technology (Yield)
Latitude
Sunshine & season
The production can vary by a factor of 1 to 12 depending on the season, and the sunshine (a yield of 18% on average).
Yearly average production per m2 of solar panel :
115 Watts per hour and per m2
3,45 KWh per month and per m2 (45° latitude)
A house consumes an average 35 KWh per day, 13MWh/Year (+/- 20%), including hot water,  heating and/or air conditionning.
It then needs  : 35 000 W / 115 = 300 m2 of Solar panels to reach full autonomy.
(Solar panels real surface depending on local weather conditions, latitude and solar cells efficiency).

TRI-GEN POWER STATION

G3 Power Station preserving 24,900 m² of agricultural land with a compact footprint.
TRI-GEN CAPACITY : 4 units, 502,5 KWh each, assembled = 2,1 MWh constant production 7/7 + 15 MWh battery (to store unused night production).

The smallest version of G3 produces 25 KWh per day, whatever the weather, the season or the time of day or night, measures 4m high and only occupies approximately 5m2.
Larger G3 power stations will produce up to 3 MWh per unit, Units Assembled together to constitue power plants than can reach up 300 MWh of continuous production (winter and summer, whatever the weather is).
Tri-Gen can take various shapes to integrate harmoniously a landscape.
Solar panel fields need enormous surface and constant maintenance to keep the yield, solar panels see their efficiency drop during high heat or low temperatures and have to be cleaned regulary. Their production depends on multiple factors as the graphic shows.

1 Km2 of solar panel is a huge power plant, able to produce around 180 MWh peak (sahara), and an average 50 MWh per 24 Hours during sunny days in summer. Its yearly production reaches hardly 18% of its peak power is : 33 MWh per 24 Hours.
The same power can be produced constantly by 12
Tri-Gen units producing 3 MWh each (total 36 MWh), 24/7.
Does not take big surface (around 300 Square meters).
No weather influence, no day/night alternance.
No need for large battery storage.
No maintenance issues.
Whatever the environment, countryside, village, city, Tri-Gen offers constant energy production, night and day and in all seasons and weather conditions.

Tri-Gen Power units can be grouped or separated, integrated into the relief (quarries, cliffs, hills, mines) or submerged (lakes or seas).

WIND TURBINES vs TRI-GEN

WIND TURBINES

Horizontal axis wind turbines, with a height ranging from 25 to 180 meters, have a power which can range from 100 KW to 7.5 MW.

Most wind turbines installed today have a power ranging from 1 to 3 MW and are grouped into wind farms with a power ranging from 6 to 210 MW.

However, whatever the wind turbine, its production depends on the wind, and the annual average yield is around 25% onshore and 30% offshore.

These wind farms only produce 1.5 to 60 MWh real and not every day (sometimes too much, often not enough).
The graphic below shows the real effectiveness of Wind turbines. An offshore wind turbine produces energy at :
90% to 100% efficiency 15% of the year.
30% efficency 50% of the year.
Less than 10% efficiency 20% of the year.
On shore wind turbines beeing far less efficient than offshore ones.

TRI-GEN POWER STATION

The G3 power units  can be integrated into the relief or landscape, or into buildings, and for the "Submarine" versions do not clutter the water surface, make no noise, are not subject to storms and produce up to at 3 MWh continuously and per unit.
